DIY Tapas I - Homemade tomato and green pepper salsa, mango and feta with fresh chicory

自創小點- 自家製番茄青椒辣沙司和芒果撈希臘芝士配菊苣

Perhaps the easiest starter for most people, this is a must-to-serve at any occasions, whether you're at home with a few guests or organising a party. Soul food at its best, served with some fresh chicory; the mango and feta works well together and what's best, vegetarians are in for a treat! I will show you the procedures on making a nice salsa - no preservatives, but you might want to finish them off within a day or two!

又健康又清淡的小點,菊苣配搭自家製的番茄青椒辣沙司和芒果撈希臘芝士是一個非常簡單的菜。不用超過10分鐘就可以做好,給自己或者跟朋友一起食。在食譜裡,我會教你怎樣做一個令人流口水的辣沙司,因為沒放防腐劑,為了保持鮮味,一兩天之內要必須食完!

Note: I will only be posting the salsa recipe; all you need to do for the mangoes, feta cheese and chicory is to cut them into cubes and tear them into pieces, nothing special really.

The Perfect Salsa | 最佳的辣沙司

To serve at least 5~6 people - you need:

6 ripe tomatoes, on the vine

green chillies, deseed

1/2 a white onion (or red)

3 tbsps of extra virgin olive oil

A pinch of salt

Fresh parsle

Optional: crushed garlic (fried) or crushed almonds

 

適合5-6個人的份量:

番茄 6 個

青辣椒 2 個,除籽

白洋葱 1/2 個(或者红洋葱)

特级橄榄油 3 匙羹

鹽少许

香菜

碎杏仁或者碎炸蒜片

How to Make This? | 做法

1. Cut tomatoes into chunks and slice your green chili peppers thinly, removing the seeds.

 

2. Chop onions finely.

 

3. Add in chopped parsley and almonds, optional.

 

4. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, mix and serve.

1. 番茄切粒,青辣椒切小片,把籽除掉。

 

2. 洋蔥切小粒。

 

3. 加上香草和碎杏仁

 

4. 倒一些特級橄欖油,用湯匙撈。
